Summary: Good overview, especially in terms of Thai perceptions
Comment: This treatment of the 'causes and cures' for corruption in Thailand is generally well-written and well researched. In my opinion, the most interesting chapter was the one on public perceptions and attitudes towards corruption in Thailand. In addition, the authors have a few interesting things to say by way of comparison, which helps avoid the common problem of analyzing Thai corruption as exclusively rooted in the specific culture of Thailand. This would be an excellent chapter for anyone interested in how corruption is percieved by those within the country, especially in comparison with outside observers and observations.

Comment: This gave a very good background to the structure of Thai politics. Easy to read but a bit dry and repetitive at times.
