Comment: The Asian Pacific region has often been touted as one of the major advancing economies in recent years, and a spate of books have appeared on this subject.

However, this isn't one of the better ones for the views expressed by the authors are hackneyed and, in certain extent, overtaken by recent events. As a result, this book of a very limited value, whether for research or for general reading.

Having regard to the price, I don't think it's worth investing in it.
