Comment: First published in 1979, this poetry book has changed many people thaughts about words and language. Herberto Helder's writing manages to overcome the possible and the unknown, by exploring a metaphorical world where love, life and insanity are continuasly present. Like almost all Helder's works, Photmaton & Vox is an enigmatic book, very difficult to read and understand. However, once one flows into his world and to his poetry, the power that it shows lead us to a new universe of understanding where everything can be told and felt. A book to read forever, always looking for new prespectives.
