Summary: The Prints of Barnett Newmann
Comment: If you like Barnett Newmann's work, or the art of the New York Abstract Expressionists, you will like this book. The reproduction of the prints: etching and lithographs are beautiful. Newmann's prints are quite different from his paintings in that the prints have a lighter, drawn quality, that his paitnings don't have. The introduction offers insight into what made Newmann turn to the print medium in the first place. I highly recommend this book to anyone interested in Modern Art.
