Summary: Like knitting treacle
Comment: I have a development background but I found this book hard going. It was a little bit like being given a map and some directions but never being able to reach your destination - there was always something lacking or paragraphs went off at a tangent. I found that there was little logical structurein this book. I had to look for things in the later chapters before everything made sense in the earlier ones. I can't say I will be using this one as a reference. I think there are better ones around.

Summary: This is a readable Project 2002 book
Comment: Pyron is the master MSP but I usually only read his books if I am having trouble sleeping or am willing to put up with his style (does he have an editor and tries to organize his material or just a stream of consciousness when he writes?).

I have just started reading the Server 2002 portions of Bucki and Chefetz and it is very well written. It is straightforward with real advice.
