Summary: Absolutley Beautiful
Comment: I love Chobits, it's my favourite manga ever at the moment and it pains me that some people out there disregard it as 'unoriginal' or even 'pornography'. ANYONE who says that this manga is porno simply because it contains some (minor) nudity are along the same lines as the people who wont let their kids watch Harry Potter simply because it contains witchcraft.
Anyone who likes mystery and comedy should go get Chobits now, and if you have a brain you wont be disappointed.

Hideki may appear to be your typical shonen git but he's actually pretty hilarious!
Chii is the very definition of 'kawaii' and 'innocence'.
Sumomo stretches the kawaii factor off the limit!

Summary: Possible Chobit?
Comment: Persocoms. Beautiful, Obedient... Fully Functional. They're perfection.
In a time where computers the shape of a shoe box sit on top of your desk is crazy but ones that walk and talk aren't lives a guy named Hideki. He's used to getting the short end of the stick, he can't get into school and his 'loving' parents refuse him an alloyance. Therefore, he's now a busboy with just enough to get by. He envies those who are rich, and especially the people who own persocoms. But, Lady Luck was finally on his side when he discovered a girl wrapped in cloth out in garbage. He takes her home, realizing she weighs a ton, and realizes its a persocom. Something must be wrong with her for her to be in the trash, right? After discovering her switch, she comes to 'life', only uttering 'chi'. As the story continues Mrs. Shimizu, Hideki's teacher, comes over, shocking him with a request to spend the night.
But, what's the mystery with Chi? And why does she keep spacing out?
The first volume in CLAMP's Chobits series certainly causes you to be curious. There is nudity and some older humor, so children under 13 shouldn't read it.

Summary: A great series
Comment: This book is great. I almost laugh when I read reviews on it about it being "sexist," expecially when Clamp, an all woman team, wrote and illustrated it. Though, I do agree, it does get a bit racey for some overprotective parents to think their kid is reading, but I point to the "Age 16+" tag on the back.
All in all, though, the series fares very well... i never would have guessed the ending. I recommend checking out the first manga.
