Summary: Great Beach reading for kids and adults
Comment: Our copy of Time Almanac 2004 is already dog eared and full of sand. My nine-year-old daughter and I pass it back and forth to each other at the beach. It is a lively, colorful resource book that kids will immediately identify as "cool". It is also helpful for parents, both in reminding you of all those planet facts you have long forgotten and to keep a finger on the pulse of what kids should be knowing. I, also, found the homework skills and test-taking sections great for reminding me how to help my children address schoolwork...

Comment: This almanac is chock full of important and up-to-date facts and figures that kids need to know for homework and reports. It's also a blast to peruse. As a parent of twin second graders, I encourage my kids to use the book when they have a question about geography, history, math, anything!! I often read it to them at storytime, and we play trivia games with it. My kids love the vibrant photos and illustrations. I use it myself for puzzles and to impress friends with my knowledge of facts and figures!

Comment: Time for Kids 2004 is full of useful information on everything you can imagine: Animals, Books, Dinosaurs, Government, History, Movies and TV, News, Sports, Weather and that's just to name a few! There's also a Homework Helper with tips for writing reports and taking tests. Every page is bright and colorful and there are maps and profiles of all the countries and the 50 states. The quizzes and games challenge a variety of age levels. This is a great reference book not only for kids, but for people of all ages.
