Comment: A good book, with loads of detail information, but a reader will likely decide not to do the conversion after reading about all the customization and banging and chopping that, according to this book, must be performed.

From those I've talked to it's really not that bad. So use the book as a guide and don't let him talk you out of making the conversion.
