Comment: "The voidoid" is an intriguing piece of work that, at first merely leaves a fuzzy mark on your memory. The first time reading it you're not quite sure what you have just read. It is one of those books that is deserving of being looked over more than once to hear the authors intent and to form a purpose for every spontaneous quotation or meaning for every irregular symbol. R. Hell uses the words "weird jewel" and "filthy aerial photo" to describe his book. These words, like the book "The Voidoid," are unspecific and only leave the reader with more questions and a want to see things as the author has seen them. For me, it's this curiousity that gives the book its strength. It is one of those book that i need to reread several times because i feel as if reading it once has only left me with a glimpse of its entirety...
