Summary: The Zen Shamus
Comment: A.W. Hill has a created a totally unique and absorbing central character in Stephen Raszer . A sort of 21st Century Phillip Marlowe , who operates in the spiritual , as well as street realm. Hill asks the reader to absorb a fairly deep bank of background information , and then pays us off in spades with a great ride. I can't wait for the sequel.

Summary: Indiana Jones size story!!!
Comment: Enoch's Portal tells a tall tale - or is it a tale? - that spans ages, continents and religions with conspiracies on a global basis. This book is a great read. I would highly recommend it to readers of historical fiction, fantasy and those intrigued by quasi-religous quests and conspiracies.

Summary: This book would make a great film
Comment: This book was truly a page-turner. I hardly ever get the time to read books, and I thought I was out of practice, but this book I read in one 7 hour sitting. I really enjoyed the thoughtful analyses of world religious politics and the hints at conspiracy theories. Although at times I found the book a little hard to follow due to obscure references I obviously didn't know, after sticking with it past 3 chapters I ended up understanding and learning more than I have from any other novel I've read in a long time. I also liked the artful way in which the author wove a personal struggle and love story in with the plot. It would make an absolutely amazing film!
