Summary: GREAT easy recipes
Comment: the first recipe I tried from this book was the potato pesto pizza made with her basic pizza dough. easy gourmet! I eat her pizza in some form or another at least once a week. her recipes are for the most part delicious and simple, plus, I love the friendly layout, and wide margins, great for jotting notes in. also, all the little spotlights on different solo cooks make it just as fun to read through as it is to eat out of. definately my favorite 'single' cookbook.

Summary: I would take "super" out of the title
Comment: These recipes are OK. They are fine if you are the type who is in to fast food and are certainly an improvement on the usual fast food fare. I, however, prefer to take my cooking a little beyond the basics and I was hoping for a little more inventiveness in the recipes. This book would appeal to someone who appreciates the familiar (like Mom used to make) and lives alone.

Summary: A Little Too Meat Oriented
Comment: I was thrilled with the spirit of this book. Cooking for one can be a gormet and fun experience. But as a person that chooses not to eat a great deal of meat, I found most of the recipies included in this volume to rely a little too heavily on meat. I wish the author would do a second volume for us vegies.
