Comment: This small book gets right to the point and addresses several important features of an ICW trip: Navigating, Passing, Grounding, Bridges, Inside or Outside and Radio Communication. The information the book contains is important, well organized, concise and easy to digest. Any first-timer will definitely benefit from reading the book and most repeat ICW travelers will pick up a few good hints. It won't tell you where to eat ashore or where to tie up, but it will help you get from point to point without stress and mishaps. And it doesn't take much of a mishap to add up to the price of the book.

Comment: It took us several trips on the ICW to learn these tips. The info was specific and totally relevant to the unique situations encountered on the ICW. We recommend this booklet to all new ICW travelers....the passage will go so much smoother.

Comment: Even tho this author has obviously made many trips on the Intracoastal Waterway, he has the ability to convey what the novice needs to know for his first trip.
