Summary: Not a "how-to" book....but good.
Comment: I really enjoyed this and found it supportive and helpful with the psychological aspects of bottoming. I did expect more of a "how-to" type of manual, and this is not anything like that. However, the information that this book does have is something that I would have looked for eventually anyway. It covers a lot of issues like meeting Tops, what is safe or not, and your own independence outside of the bedroom. I particularly enjoyed reading about the authors own knowledge of people who believe that because they can handle something in fantasy they can handle it in real life as well. This is a common problem, I think. This book deals with issues like that. A good "support group" for the nightstand.

Summary: An excellent book
Comment: This is an excellent book for anyone interested in the bottoming part of BDSM. It encourages, informs, and empowers bottoms. The authors make it plain that: No, you are not crazy. No, bottoming does not mean that you are powerless or weak. No, you are not alone. Yes, it is ok to want this!
This is not a book on how to play, per se, but rather a book on how to be a strong, powerful bottom who can enjoy exploring that part of themselves. I recommend reading this book along with a book that explains how to get started, such as SM 101, by Jay Wiseman.

Summary: Living BDSM
Comment: my Husband and i got the new bottoming and the new Topping book, and love them both. They have a great point of view from the two ladies to both sides, and lots of places to go to for more advice. A definite must for people living BDSM.
