Summary: Outstanding Second Edition
Comment: I purched the first addition a few years back. After recently getting out of a long term relationship with the help of the first book, I thought I would buy the second edition for any new information. The book is current, realistic and truly helped me identify what I was looking for in a mate before I got started. That really helped me narrow my searches to meet my needs. I highly recommend this book to any new internet daters or those who have had little success in the past.

Summary: The silliest little book I have ever seen!
Comment: I have been dating online for eight years, and consider myself to be somewhat of an expert on the matter. I bought this book for my father, widowed after 41 years of marriage. But even after a year of online dating, I believe he knows more than this book purported to teach. It contains no information not widely available on the internet. It was outdated the year it was published (2001). And the most preposterous section in it was about spelling and grammar--ironic, for a small book rife with orthographic errors! I can't believe the authors managed to get it published. Please don't waste your money.

Summary: Love can be found in the online world!
Comment: I found the Online Dating Survival Guide quite helpful. After reading it I developed the courage to place an ad at one of the online dating sites found on the net, loveatfirstclick.com. The book gave me the much needed skills to sort, search and remain anonymous. The book and the effectiveness of loveatfirstclick.com helped me meet someone that I found to be just right. I'd recommmend this book, and the web site too!!
