Customer Reviews

Rating: 4
Summary: Clear, simple, understandable -
Comment: The author covers the basics for the lowest denominator. Andthat is what the title claims. She covers in concise language, indiffering ways, social skills that are problematic to most ADDs in one way or the other. The examples clarify. Her writing is clear. The exercises in the appendix, if used, are eye-openers.

I recommend this book.

Rating: 5
Summary: Author provides spectacular insight in easy to read format
Comment: I recently finished reading Michele Novotni's groundbreaking book, "What does everybody else know that I don't?" The book provides very useful and practical insights that can be applied to the everyday life of a person with ADD. Although the ideas and concepts are brilliant, Novotni manages to tailor the messages so that an average reader can understand them. I reccomend that anyone who wants to improve their relationships with others read this book.

Rating: 4
Summary: It's a good book for spouses and parents of AD/HD children
Comment: I found it to be very insightful as the spouse to my ADD husband and mother of an ADD adult child. I only wish I had read it ten years ago as it would have saved some heartache! My other wish would be that the book were available on cassette or CD-Rom. My spouse cannot read this book, even with the reader-friendly innovations the writer has done to make it easier for ADD people to read. I find most books for him must be on CD or I have to read it to him.
