Summary: But Watch Out If You Own an HP49!
Comment: This book does everything I wanted, but it does it for the wrong calculator. I have an HP49, and when it comes to linear algebra, there are evidently enough differences to make the book unusable. Users familiar with the HP48 (which I am not) may feel differently.

To use this book you will want to download a bunch of special-purpose HP48 programs "readily available" from the author. I have no idea if they are still available. Perhaps the author's buddy "Gil" Strang from MIT can help.

The contents are of extreme interest, given that you are doing this on a hand-held calculator: LU factorization, change of basis, QR factorization, least-squares solutions, eigenvalues etc. I would like to see this book updated for the HP49.
