Summary: Most important book.
Comment: Don't it just rile you when people come along and write a review when they clearly haven't read the book. I'm referring to the read from California. Spetner has written a chapter called 'The Watchmaker's Blindness' which tackles Richard Dawkins' theories and statements, and rebuts them on experimental grounds. Spetner's entire book is based on exposing the fatal flaws of Charles Darwin's theory of natural selection - on experimental grounds. What does the reader from California have to say? "He (Spetner) may come to other conclusions by reading first books which I recommend instead:" ... "Dawkins' books on evolution" and "'The Descent of Man' by Charles Darwin".
This book shouldn't be shoved under the carpet by people who are too scared to admit that materialists' theories are fatally flawed. If the reader from California were to read the book, maybe he/she "may come to other conclusions". How this book can be described as "Jewish science", beats me.
Spetner's work does not show that evolution didn't occur. It shows that Darwin's theory of natural selection (adhered to by Richard Dawkins), absolutely falls short of explaining how we, and all the other species, came to be. This book is serious. Buy it.

Summary: Does As The Title Suggests
Comment: Lee Spetner certainly follows through on his premise. He convincingly shows Neo-Darwinism (modern theory of evolution) is genetically and mathematically impossible. He achieves this with cold hard facts concerning genetic mutations (no mutation has EVER been shown to ADD new functioning genetic information which would be ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY for the modern theory of evolution to occur- mutations followed by natural selection gradually over long periods of time, etc..) and logical mathematically equations on probability. He scores more points with his own theory on the brilliance of evolution/adaption within creatures provided by the Creator (Non Random Evolutionary Hypothesis). Note: He destroys Richard Dawkin's quasi-religious manifesto called "The Blind Watchmaker", which falsely purposts itself to be "science"-minded. Ironically, Spetner relies far less on leaps of faith than that of pseudo-scientific neo-Darwinists like Dawkins!

Summary: Mathematical, Logical, Precise
Comment: So many people take neo-Darwinism by default, without thinking things through or challenging old assumptions. Spetner blows away the old Darwin myths with solid mathematical precision. He also opens up an entire gateway of thinking, allowing the reader to go beyond the complexities he deals with in this book, to imagine others, and think them through.
Spetner shows that no mutation has ever added positive information. He also shows the shear mathematical impossibility of neo-Darwinism in a detailed explanation, which is fairly put in laymens terms. Scientists and non-scientists alike should read this book. We simply need to re-think evolution, and so many of its warn out and old ideas, and Spetner gives us cause and tools to do so.
