Comment: It is difficult to find a comprehensive curriculum guide for infants and toddlers- but here it is! This book is well-organized and easy-to-read. It begins with basic information on developmental issues specific to infants and toddlers. Then it moves on to practical information on how to create an optimal environment for infants, toddlers, and their families. Information is culturally-sensitive and developmentally appropriate. There are numerous sample forms and program plans that professionals can use as a guide in creating an infant/toddler program. There are also vignettes that allow the reader to see how the information can be applied. I highly recommend this book as a reference for the professional working with this population!
