Summary: A GREAT BOOK ABOUT OLD FISHING REELS
Comment: Without hesitation I highly recommend this book. Mr. Jellison clearly provides a general primer on reel collecting and patent history. He includes thousands of value listings and I feel that the coverage of the subject is substantial, particularly in the area of reel repairs and evaluation of reel defects. A good reference for anyone interested in fishing reels of the past!

Comment: The book is very general! There are not very many specifics about any of the reels. In fact,I personally own several reels from manufactors of reels listed in the book that are not even listed. I was very disappionted. If I would have been able to review this book in a book store,I would have not purchised it!
