Comment: Mr Klunder had a very good way of describing situations, citing examples, which makes all the difference in the world! His book gave me lots of ideas as to what types of questions to ask and HOW to ask them in order to get the most information in the answers! I am searching in the state of NJ and it is a very difficult state to get info from, and I am hoping to use some of the info from Mr Klunder's book in order to obtain the information I seek. If Mr Klunder happens to read this, I would certainly appreciate him contacting me. I have some questions I would like to ask him. Thanks for all the great information Mr Klunder, your book was certainly valuable to me! I went to the library reference section where I found your book and I was so involved, I got through it in 3 days!

Summary: A treasure-trove of information, although it needs an update
Comment: This resource for the adoptee or birth parent in search is very valuable. Since its 1991 publication, many of the addresses of information sources have changed, it is still worthy of a read. If you are just starting your search, read this book.
