Title: Selected Poems (French-English Bilingual Editions from Bloodaxe) by Jacques Dupin, Paul Auster, Stephen Romer, David Shapiro ISBN: 1-85224-234-5 Publisher: Bloodaxe Books Pub. Date: 1992 Format: Paperback |
Average Customer Rating: 5 (1 review)
Rating: 5
Summary: bloody sublime
Comment: Dupin's poetry brings together fear and desire, death and life, oppositions which fuse together not out of juxtaposition but out of a bleeding neccesity for eachother. Death and life do not contrast in dupin, they are one. Opposing themselves within themselves, self rending and fusing simulataneously. Parageneous and sublime.
