Summary: Stories That Need To Be Told
Comment: This is an important book. It tells the stories of those who have the privilege to fight against injustice, and more importantly gives a window into the reality of what its like to be living under occupation. As a Jew, these stories are especially important to me. It's crucial that we are not afraid to make constructive criticisms of the harm our governments are doing, for our security and the world's. This book contains the harrowing words of slain activists Rachel Corrie and Tom Hurndall. How sad that we only pay attention when white folks get killed, and glaze over the Palestinians who die everyday. Nonetheless, the ISM has helped to bring attention to a problem that needs to be addressed.

Summary: Israeli State Terrorism and Western Complicity
Comment: Given the Western media's strong pro-Israel bias, it is often easy to overlook the fact that Palestinians were evicted overnight from their homeland to make room for Israel just so that the West could atone for its criminal neglect of the Jews during Nazism. This book helps us remember the truth about the Middle East.
In a recent short review, John Pilger wrote (Outlook India, June 25, 2004): "With a foreword by Edward Said, who died last year, this is the story of the "internationals": the outstanding, mostly young people who go to the Occupied Territories and Gaza to bear witness and defend Palestinian families from the might of the Israeli military, especially the bulldozers that demolish their homes. The story of the heroism of Rachel Corrie and Tom Hurndall and their murder by the Israelis, in acts of terrorism as explicit as any suicide bombing, is painful to read, but necessary."

Summary: Boycott this Garbage
Comment: Don't spend a penny supporting this horrible group terrorist lovers. There is no point in reading this because they have fabricated their lies and are only trying to raise more money so they can shelter more terrorists en route to their homocide bombing missions. Garbage...total garbage.
