Summary: A classic in Hollow Earth literature
Comment: Is it True the Earth is Hollow?
This excellent publication is a classic, when it comes to hollow earth literature; a book written from the heart of a man who spent 27 years in a nut house (or Asylum) just for telling the truth regarding his unusual trip to Agartha.
It is good to remember this is not an imaginary tale but by all accounts a true story, the year is 1829.
Olaf Jansen, a 19 years old fisherman from Norway and his father Jens Jansen decide, during a fishing trip and just for the heck of it, to venture farther north than nobody else had ever been. Eventually, and after a dangerous long trip in a small boat, unsuspectingly and surprisingly they reached the inner Earth: a plentiful pristine, pretty land of gentle 12' tall giants. (Who supposedly according to other sources on the subject, arrived, thousands of years ago, on Earth from other planets)
On their return voyage to the surface, two years after their incursion, during a storm at sea his father inadvertently and unfortunately died. Miraculously and fortunately Olaf was rescued by a fishing boat on its way home.
On his deathbed already well over his 90s, the norseman was able to share his unbelievable, strange, fascinating story with the world through Willis G. Emerson
This man and his father Jens Jansen deserve our recognition and appreciation for what they have done and what they have discovered for the human race and their contribution to human knowledge.
This is a 'couldn't put it down' kind of story.
