Summary: Another uneducated scholar
Comment: After I read this book with an open mind I had an opinion that it contains alot of defaming information. Alot of things were taken out of context to prove his opinion which is a complete nonesense. Too much misinterpreted historical details, beside too much focus on homosexuality and what islamic faith say about. I dare him to find in other religions what can support homosexuality. Islam is a very tolerent religion, very humane and it requires to control your desires and don't let your desires control you. I read those books which attack the islamic faith and I found the authors are mostly biased, have lack of logic and even unbalanced. I know these days are good for anyone who want to make some more money by writing a book attacking people's religion.

Summary: Freeman, Warraq--you're wrong
Comment: The audacity which Warraq has assumed in this book is amazing. Beyond that, that Mr. Freeman would accept his belief so quickly is equally absurd. Granted the practices of many Muslim nations are atrocious and need to be stopped immediately (e.g. "honor killings"), to take it as far as defamation of the Prophet and the doubting of his authenticity is absurd.
The Prophet Muhammad was a great man who took mankind to the next level of spirituality and morality. Muhammad was a polygamist because the violence inherent in Arab culture at that time had made countless women widows; since they were unable to defend themselves & earn a livlihood in such a male-dominated society, Muhammad took it upon himself to marry them--not for any lustful desire, but in order to care for them and their children, who might otherwise have grown up poor and oppressed. To call the Prophet a pederast is beyond all scope of respect for him and his followers, and it is an outright lie. The Prophet & Islamic leaders after him condemned such practices as Satanic and inhumane.
In short, Ibn Warraq has written a book of fallacies and shortcomings, which should not be given any credibility at all.

Summary: This is the best time to publish anti-muslim book.
Comment: It looks like there's at least one good thing that has resulted from 9/11 - some of these self-hating, ex-Muslims or Arabs or whatever have found a nice little niche in the book market. There will never be a more opportune time to profit from an anti-Muslim book than now. Ms. Manji, Ibn Waraq and all you other great scholars, you go girl!!!
