Summary: the best book in the series so far
Comment: I liked the Caitlin O'Conner books in this series, but I like Chloe better. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that I am an aspiring musician myself, or maybe it is because I could totally relate to Chloe. Book five in the Diary of a Teenage girl series follows Chloe Miller, the younger sister to Josh Miller, Caitlin O'Conner's former boyfriend. Josh is now a Christian himself, but his sister, older brother, and parents are not. Chloe begins to ask questions about religion in this book, especially after she gets beat up and then meets Allie, an aspiring Wiccan. Chloe is the polar opposite of Caitlin, the first character in many ways. For one thing, she visits the cemetery regularly, writes poetry that she turns into music, and dresses and acts entirely different than the first character. I liked Chloe better because she wasn't perfect. I also liked the general message that Carlson tries to deliver from Chloe's story--one about forgiveness and letting God use you. This book is just plain awesome. I recommend you buy it, you'll want to read it over and over!

Summary: sooooo good!
Comment: Ok, so I thought that now we are moving on to a new character in this series that it would, well, pale in comparison to the first four books. I was proved wrong. Melody Carlson have created another character who will steal you're heart and feel her pain. I was home all day and I read the book in a day, i could NOT put it down! I recommend this for any teenage girl!

Summary: A great book
Comment: Though I was disappointed at first that this book was about Chloe and not Caitlin from the other Diary books, I was pleasantly surprised. I thoroughly enjoyed the book, and I feel more teens can relate to Chloe. She's not as 'perfect' as Caitlin, and she's more 'in your face.' You won't be disappointed when if you decide to read this book. Now I just want to know more about Caitlin and what she's doing. I hope Carlson continues to write about her, as well as Chloe.
