Summary: Knowledge forfighting crime and making money at the sametime
Comment: I read this book and found it contains a LOT of useful information for every teenager and adult. It tells how to make a citizen arrest, and how and where to collect $500 to $250,000 rewards from the Feds. It tells you how to collect similar rewards from lawbreakers themselves when they have enough personal assets to make it worthwhile. And it tells you why lawbreakers will be eager to settle it out-of-court with you. (You play the Good Cop role.) Love that Part! Most of the rewards mentioned in this book are based on Qui Tam law. That's something I didn't know anything about until I read the book. Qui Tam law is powerful medicine!

Qui Tam law provides Hunters with legal standing to sue lawbreakers in civil courts for rewards. This old, English common law was used about 300 years ago in England when there were too many lawbreakers and too few police to make arrests. Now it's North America's turn. We desperately need a few thousand volunteers in our crime-ridden cities.

Qui Tam law was recently upheld by the U.S. Supreme Court as being still available in the USA (and Canada as well as former British Colonies that were once ruled by the Brit's). There's no doubt about its legality. The author explains Qui Tam law and its "job opportunities" in explicit detail. McGhee adds a few new, unique ideas to expand Qui Tam law's reach and profitability for Hunters in ALL areas of misdemeanor and felony crimes.

I found it fascinating how Hunters can play the Good Cop role (versus the FBI and DEA). Most first-time lawbreakers will probably thank Hunters for being the Good Cop in the prosecution -- because it may help them bypass criminal prosecution!

I also liked the detailed instructions on how to operate a DUI Patrol. Five hundred bucks reward per DUI from out-of-court settlements has unbelievable income opportunities for mature teenagers like me! Working the CFI NARC squad also has similar income potential but has higher risks. I wouldn't recommend the NARC Squad for teenagers. But, you don't have to make citizen arrests to be eligible for rewards. All you need to do is provide the D.A. with enough evidence to make an arrest and they'll happily do the job for you. You still get paid a reward when the law that was violated says the "informant" (I prefer the name "Hunter") gets 50% of fines and forfeitures. When the law doesn't state a specific reward, it has to be negotiated. That too, is explained in detail and tells how Hunters have unique leverage to get a 50% reward agreement from city, county, and state D.A.s.

The book contains detailed explanations of all serious (and not so serious) reward laws. Some of them, like the False Claims Act (against crooked health-care providers), and RICO lawsuits against corporate polluters, pay rewards that are often in the megabuck range! Many multi-million dollar cases are quoted for examples. Although most federal laws have a limit of $250,000 per reward (from fines and forfeitures), city, county and state prosecutors are not similarly restricted. That's when you tell them to pay 50% and get 50%, or pay nothing and get nothing. Imagine getting a 50% reward on a multi-million dollar out-of-court settlement! And, the Hunter has legal authority to do the negotiating.

When you have conclusive evidence, lawbreakers will be eager to settle it out-of-court with you (as the official Qui Tam prosecutor), to hopefully bypass criminal prosecution and possible prison sentences. Then you get paid right away. The Hunter collects the money and passes on the other 50% to the government. I like that part, too.

Fantastic book. A one-of-its-kind. If anyone wants to help fight the war on crime, and get paid for doing it, read this book! It tells you EXACTLY how to do it. What else could you ask for in a book.
