Summary: Great Info, Cheesy Package
Comment: I've been a fan of Herb Goldberg for a long time, and his material is terrific. Anyone who wants to understand the dance between the sexes should read his entire output, most especially WHAT MEN REALLY WANT and the volume under consideration. But his editors need to be taken out to the wood shed.
Just for starters, take a look at the cover of this book. Beg pardon? Shouldn't the second word be WOMEN? Maybe there should be a question mark at the end of the title: WHAT WOMAN SHOULD KNOW ABOUT MEN?
Copy editing aside, there really is no excuse for the way this work is packaged and presented. $12.95 is a bit steep for 91 pages of largish print, much of which rehashes WHAT MEN REALLY WANT. (The latter is full of great information, but also very badly edited.) I wish that Dr. Goldberg would do a rewrite, incorporating the material from both these books into one. And that he would find an editor who knows how to proof read and format for readability. The resulting book would be a hit, and invaluable to men and the women who love them.
