Comment: A 'dip' in his father's financial status did NOT prevent Plum from attending college; it merely prevented him from attending Oxford like his brother. Wodehouse attended Dulwich and studied the classics (highly evident in his writing, to say the least).

Just thought we should keep things clear on that point. Old Jeeves has made me something of a purist in that regard.
