Summary: About "Psychological Trauma"
Comment: This book is about psychological trauma; the trauma itself, it's consequenses and the effects of traumatic stress on body function. The book is well written and well organized. It is interesting to read about the historical development of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and to discover how different the consequences of trauma can be. The only drawback is that it's quite old for this area of psychology, which has developed fast in the last few years. Therefore, the author doesn't mention new methods for treating PTSD like EGG-biofeedback and EMDR. But as mentioned a well written book about an interesting field of science.
