Summary: Not Only for Couples!
Comment: As a working mom, I never had time to make a nice meal for my family. Then I got Quickies for Couples! This cookbook is great because the recipes do make enough for my family or can be doubled if more is needed. They're delicious and so easy to prepare.
I also appreciate that the book includes several wonderful vegetarian & seafood dishes. This is a great buy for anyone!

Comment: As a young and newly married woman, I am so happy to have found a recipe book to feature beginner-level recipes that serve two people. So many other cookbooks assume that you are an expert-level cook! "Quickies" is a great book to help you feel more comfortable in the kitchen, and it will never intimidate you.

Summary: Exactly what I've been needing
Comment: This book not only provides great tips and directions for the not-so-experienced cook (aka, my husband), but it also gives me some great new recipes for almost every type of cuisine. The book really lives up to its name. The recipes are fast, easy, and I never have to worry about leftovers. I even got one for my mom for Christmas because she's still trying to get used to not having to cook for four, and I think she (and my dad) will be happy to get this stocking stuffer.
