Summary: Life mirrors Spinal Tap
Comment: This is a very funny book...Get two copies! I couldn't put it down, and when I did, someone else picked it up and walked away with it. Whether you love rock stars, or think they're dumb, you'll like this book and laugh alot. What *did* Ted Nugent do with that bowl of guacamole, or was it whipped cream?

Rating: 5
Summary: A great read for anyone in need of a laugh
Comment: Some reviewers have said that many of the stories in this book are false. While some of them may not be true, they're still very funny. I read a quote in here from Robert Plant, the lead singer of Led Zeppelin that I found hilarious: "Toilets! Toilets! Toilets for Robert! Where are the toilets? Robert needs a toilet!" It does seem unbelievebable that anyone could be stupid enough to say that, but keep in mind that many rock musicians did drugs and drank a lot of alcoholic beverages. This book also provides a short biography of each band that they include, so if you're interested in rock history you'll find out a few things about how each band started out and you'll get lots of good laughs. If there's one bad thing about this book, it's the fact that it has caused me to lose respect for some of my favorite bands.

Overall, I'd reccomend to this book to anyone, many people can appreciate the humor. A lot of the things in it are sex-related, so if you consider yourself to be a conservative person you might find this book somewhat offensive. Pre-teens are a little young to read this though, I think the earliest acceptable ages to read this would be 13-15.

Summary: Authors Do the Dumbest Things!
Comment: Margaret Moser and Bill Crawford live in fantasy land? What a waste of money. Obviously these two clowns have not done any proper research and have filled the book with lots of myths and wildly exaggerated stories. I'm particularly peeved with the Keith Moon stuff, complete rubbish. Keith's antics have been well researched by other people and what these two have used are stories that are well known to be grossly exaggerated. They have basicly taken the most stupid myths and exaggerated stories from other peoples work, put in no research, and expect people to buy it. I wish I hadn't!! Save your money.
