Summary: Very Basic
Comment: The authors apparently used a cut and paste technique in an attempt to adapt a generic "how to start a business" book to the specific subject of starting an independent trucking business. It's a poor adaption with much of the subject matter not applicable to an owner operator or small fleet trucking company, the apparant focus of the book. I felt the title misleading as the content did not prepare the reader for starting an independant trucking business as it suggests. The book is VERY BASIC in its coverage of the main subject -- how to start a business and covers very little specific to a trucking business.

I cannot recommend reading this book and certainly would not advise purchasing it.
