Summary: God's Plan Usually Finds Her, as well as HIm
Comment: Amidst the loyal and abiding marriage with children, there is no need of abstinence, and in fact, loving relationships are healthy displays of pleasurable parenting which cannot be duplicated elsewhere. These relationships are rarely made "by accident," or forced to happen, but come from intensive self knowledge, and being open to the guidance of the plans God has in store for us. Because the best laid plans of mankind often go awry, the best laid plans of God are always safer boundaries in which to travel. The distinction is one that is not only important but critical to the human spirit to experience the joy that humans can have for one another, and without it, poor substitutes often leave scars, as do the trials and tribulations of opening the heart to the opportunities God makes available. Being good to your heart is the best advice man can possibly give to another since we only have one, and it's required to last a lifetime. God's tightrope rarely comes with signposts that people know how to read.

Summary: Honest approach to women's hearts
Comment: I found this book to be excellent in examining women's hearts. Several times, women's struggle with lust is overlooked or underestimated. The author did a wonderful job in discussing different forms of being unfaithful besides physically, such as emotionally. I highly recommend this book to women who are married or in relationships. It vaguely discusses subjects for single women, but not clearly enough to really be able to understand where boundaries need to be drawn. I would also advise that single women struggling with lust, avoid reading chapter 10. Although it may be helpful when you are married, reading descriptions about God's glorious plan of sex isn't helpful for someone who is trying to overcome lust. Overall, the book was well written from a female perspective and contains a lot of helpful information for understanding yourself and significant other.

Summary: a God-send
Comment: I didn't want to read this book. Even halfway through I thought this was good info, but not for me to apply right now in my life. I just didn't want to. By the time I got to the end I was deeply thankful and ready to pursue the intimate relationship God wants to have with me above my self-indulgent thought life. I love how she writes - it's so down to earth, uncondemning, and convicting. I'm so bless to have "chanced" upon this read. 'Wish more women new about it - we need to address our own purity battle. God really is praised through this book - the Maker of romance, love and true intimacy.
