Summary: Not for the experienced player
Comment: I have been playing FREQENTLY now for over a year and i found this book basically useless, if you are a newbie and have only played a couple times this book will definitley give you a head start! but if your a newbie you probably wouldnt spend $15 on a paintball BOOK! if your an intermediate player this book isnt really helpful it is general stuff that you pick up on or you could just ask an experienced player. If your an experienced player dont even bother! it gives you general information like stuff on "dont stick you whole body out when you shoot tuck your elbows in when you shoot then they show over exagerated pictures of guys throwing there whole bodies out and making the there arm like a line to guys the are holding the gun to where it would kill you arms when you pulled the trigger, It is general stuff that you will figure out for yourself by playing the game. It has alot of interviews with the founders of the game which i thought was pretty interesting(they actually have these interviews in magazines) they tell you how to clean guns (which comes from the owners manual) but on the plus side they show alot of cool pictures and alot of the "old school" paintball products.

Summary: A more than complete guide to paintball.......
Comment: I bought this guide when I was just a newbie to paintball, and now I have been playing for about 6 months. The guide impacted my play so much, that I was one of the best players when all I had was a pump action gun. It taught me all about what to do in every situation possible, how to move, and what equipment to aquire. This guide was helpful then, and amazingly it is still helpful now! It helps me with gun malfunctions, ways to care for my gun, and what guns to buy. This is a great book and I highly reccomend it to all paintball players.

Summary: Complete Coverage
Comment: This is complete coverage for beginner and intermediate. A first-timer might prefer "Ultimate Guide to Paintball", but then want this book for a more "Complete" coverage. Better yet, get both like I did. Lots of good photos, extensive coverage, second edition is up-to-date. Definitely check it out.
