Summary: Don't buy this if you have her earlier book.
Comment: I am an admirer of Ardinger and I thought I was buying a new book. Instead this is an abridged version of an earlier book entitled The Women's Book of Rituals and Celebrations. If you haven't read that book, you will like this one, but you will miss out on the rituals that are part of the earlier book. I was saddened that an author I respect allowed this type of marketing. I gave the book four stars despite this because if you have not read the previous book, this abridged version is good.

Summary: Awesome lady
Comment: First of all, this book doesn't tell you how to get back at your boyfriend who has cheated on you. If you are a teenage witch inspired by TV shows you`re not going to like this book, read Silver Ravenwolf instead. This book is far more than that. It reminds us the importance of worship and faith that many people ignore in practicing witchcraft. Witchcraft is not only spell casting, it is a religion and Ardinger reminds us that there is a lot of spirituality in witchcraft. Although I am not wiccan, I can recommend this book to anyone whose religion includes worshipping the Goddess. Ardinger is a smart and knowledgable person. She obviously wrote this book not only for the sake of giving newage info but she is a true writer who enjoys writing. She is different from a lot of newage writers whose books are no different than encyclopedias, no emotion whatsoever. I definitely recommend Ardinger, you are not going to agree with everything she says but at least you`re going to read a book that actually makes you interact with what you`re reading.

Comment: This lovely little book, that fits perfectly into your pocket, is filled with prayers & mantras, history & information for the reclamation of that ancient & mysterious worship of The Goddess.
