Summary: Life Changing...
Comment: At least, it was for me. Last summer (2002), I became a CHristan. Not just going to church every SUnday kind of Christian. I mean, a full out want to know all I can Christian. I had never felt like that before. And I owe it all to this book. I read this book that life-altering summer and couldn't put it down. I spent the whole day reading it. Cailin's struggles were like mine -- I could relate to the character, which compelled me even more. The way the book touched me is indescribable. But I thank Melody Carlson for writing such a memorable, life-touching novel for teenagers. It changed my life, my way of thinking.

Summary: Everyone Should Read These!
Comment: Even if you hate reading, I am sure you will enjoy the Diary of a Teenage Girl series. Caitlin is so realistic, it's scary! Most of my friends despise reading; yet they adored these books. I highly recommend this to any teenage girl who's a Christian, or even if you're not.

Summary: review of a teenage girl
Comment: I loved this book. I read it in a day, I just couldn't put it down. Caitlin dealt with things that girls face in real life every day. The situations were described perfectly and Caitlin's emotions and feelings were real. I could totally identify with her desire to be known and accepted and loved, even if it were for the wrong reasons. All of us have the desire to be loved by someone and noticed. The despair and pain she feels when she is rejected and used was totally gut-wrenching. So many times I have encountered these same situations in my short life and it's awesome that a writer has the talent to identify with so many young girls and get through to their hearts the way Melody Carlson did mine. But be warned, you just might cry!
