Summary: Encouraging book for kids trying to do the right thing
Comment: Cliques are tough on kids. The ones in cliques feel a false sense of empowerment and the ones outside can feel isolated and powerless.
This books breaks down playground dynamics for kids so they can see the why. If they understand the why maybe recesses won't seem so discouraging.
Wonderful book for kids to read to feel strong and hopeful.

Summary: Great Book
Comment: My mom bought me this book yesterday, and I thought it was so good that I finished it within 30 minutes. It really told me a lot about cliques, and friends. I've never been in one, and I wouldn't want to be in one, but I've always been excluded by them, and made fun of, so this was a great book. It told me that even though people in cliques act like they're cool, really they're just looking for a group of people to hang around with so they look tougher.
I think this is a great book for any kid/teenager who is either involved in cliques, or excluded by cliques. This is a great book for both, and a must read for anyone who has met up with cliques and phonies.
