Comment: The author really knows how to get down to the child's level as he presents his ideas. Children enjoy taking his advice. It is a big help. Sometimes the resistance is the biggest issue. Sometimes not knowing how to do the work is a big issue which the child denies. This book helps children feel like trying and asking for help when needed. Another book that does this for the K-3 children is Little Lemon by Betsy Lee. I didn't see a place for recommending a book in addition to this one so I thought I'd mention it in the review.

Comment: I have read many long, complex books on studying and study tips. Soon after using the complicated methods, I stumbled across this book. It was refreshingly simple and effective without any sort of complicated methods. A good reminder for the overwhelmed.
