Summary: An excellent, helpful book.
Comment: I want to lend this book to so many people so they can understand self-injury. It has been very helpful to me. I haven't stopped SIV, but I know why I do it more now than I ever did before. I recommend it to anyone who self-injures or to anyone who cares about someone who self-injures. This book should be considered the authority on SIV. I may buy a copy for my mom, so she can understand something she thinks is sick.

Summary: A blessing in disguise!!
Comment: When I ordered this book I truly did not know to what extent it would help me but it has helped volumes! This book looks at why people use SIV (Self inflicted Violence) and also helps you learn why you or others may use it and how to stop it. "Scarred Soul," has opened up my eyes and my mind in so many new ways. With the frequency of SIV now a days this is an important book for everyone to have to help understand but especially helpful for the users of SIV. To me this book is priceless!

Comment: This book is encouraging. I now know how to react to my friend's SIV. I have read some books on the subject that have enlightened me, but not encouraged me. This book encourages me.

I will give this book to my friend. It is THE book for those who want to help themselves and those who want to help others affected by SIV. There is a solution. This book is a first step to that solution. The solution? Read the book.

The book has a number of typos. But who cares? I'll take typos with peace of mind any day.
