Summary: NSA vs the ETs
Comment: The author shows "that the cover-up of UFO information is nothing unique. A state capable of conducting terminal mind control experiments, biological spraying of American cities, illegal mail and cable interceptions, nationwide domestic surveillance by its military, human plutonium and syphilis injections, sundry coups and assassinations, ongoing media manipulation and flat-out public lying on a continual basis, would surely be capable of lying about UFOs, too." In government circles there is the truth and the official truth and there is often a very big gap between the two. There is no lack of government officials who have stated that UFOs are real in classified documents. A few have stated unequivocally that they are extraterrestrial. Considering the large number of civilian sightings of saucers on the ground with strange looking humanoids wandering about nearby it would be a big stretch to find another believable explanation. The book is a heroic and meticulous presentation of key events and personalities ordered chronologically. It serves as a useful reference work that is extensively footnoted and well-indexed. Clear examples of official lying in relation to UFOs are presented. Assassinations are sprinkled in for good measure as well. The book is much more than a timeline litany. It holds together well as themes repeat and reinforce underlying trends and truisms that emerge. Unlike secrets that are kept in hidden laboratories, saucers buzz around in the open. The idea that they ever could have been kept secret is so remote that one wonders why anyone even tried. Do ETs want to make fools out of government hacks? "If we accept the reality of an alien presence, as the UFO evidence suggests, we must be willing to consider that presence as a threat, The record of military encounters with UFOs suggests that this is the case. Since the public is completely unprepared to meet this threat, one can only hope that those groups which have been dealing with it will act in the public interest." There is little reason to believe they did during the 1941-1973 period studied in the book. The most pertinent documents that might give assurance have either been classified or destroyed.

Summary: Excellent book!
Comment: Having read the TOP Four books in the UFO/Alien/ Government Coverup Genre; My FAVORITE is 'Alien Rapture' by Brad Steiger (Great fiction-soon to be a movie) and Edgar Fouche; and 'Alien Agenda' by the best selling author of 'Crossfire' Jim Marrs (Best reference on UFOlogy); and 'Unconventional Flying Objects' (NASA UFO Investigator for 30 years) by the scientist Dr. Paul Hill, and the Day After Roswell by Colonel Corso.
If you read this excellent book and the others, you will know that they are indeed true. Two well respected American Astronauts have come forward to proclaim they had seen evidence of the Roswell UFO crash and stated they know the cover-up is real. Was Corsos and Hills sudden demise a product of this conspiracy? Why did Fouche go underground after being interviewed on the Discovery Channel and the Learning Channel? Why didn't the 'Disclosure Project' explosive information receive any media attention? You be the judge.
