Summary: a different view...but not the best writing
Comment: I was excited to find this book, as I had never read a book about a "normal" german girl during the Holocaust. Korinna is this girl, and she is a devout follower of Hilter...until she finds out her parents are hiding Jews behind her bedroom wall. The fact that Korinna has quite a dilemma on her hands- turn in her own parents? stay silent and therefore a traitor? is interesting, but the writing was bland. I read the entire book in one night, so if you are curious, go for it, but I've read much better books about people on the other side, like the Jews.

Summary: Behind The Bedroom Wall
Comment: Have you ever read a book about the Jews or the Japanese and their experience in World War II? Well, Behind The Bedroom Wall is the exact opposite. It is about a "normal" German girl, Korinna, who is a huge fan of Hitler. She and her friends are part of Jungmadel, which is a Nazi youth group. Korinna is shocked to find out that her parents are hiding Jews behind her bedroom wall. This book is adventurous and exciting. Many unexpected things happen and many hard decisions are made. Will Korinna be a loyal German and turn her parents in? To find out, read Behind The Bedroom Wall by Laura E. Williams.
Behind The Bedroom Wall is a great, emotional thriller. There are new, exciting things with almost every turn of the page. This book gives pretty good description. One of the reasons I like this book is you don't only learn about the life of a German, but you also learn about the life of a Jewish girl. If you want to learn about World War II, or if you just want a great book, I recommend Behind The Bedroom Wall!

Summary: Great Book
Comment: This is a great book, I read it just for fun, but ended up liking it so much that I chose to do a school project on it with my mom, who liked it just as much. It was really neat to see how Korinna bounced her feelings back and forth about both her parents and their decision to hide the Jews, and the Jews and wether or not they really should be enemies to Germany.
