Summary: "a" is for "alligator"
Comment: My 20 month old absolutely loves this book. She requests it to be read to her over and over and has already memorized its contents. She is especially fond of the alligator, correctly pronouncing its name on each page... and her countenance changes as "Little a" works through his adventure. The pictures are simple and pleasing, the words are big and bold, and the storyline is very interesting to youngsters. My daughter will now finish the sentences for me, and point to all the "a" words on the pages, correctly identifying each with its proper name. Can't wait to read the rest of the alphabet! Kudos to Moncure for capturing a 20 mo. old attention!
