Summary: Perfect trip planning guide
Comment: My mother and I will be in London for one week with four of her grand-children in their twenties. We are using this book as our planning guide before arriving in London. This is the only book of the many I checked out from the library that I am buying. It is easy to understand and covers the main points of interest. I've been to London before but I needed help being the tour guide. We will be concerned with money, time and interest of the different personalities. This book was written for younger children but I think it is for families of any age.

Rating: 5
Summary: If you've never been to London, you MUST have this book!
Comment: While planning our first trip to London, I found this wonderful book! It is written like a comfortable conversation over coffee. I feel so comfortable using their many suggestions. They tell you little hints like, "Buy a Visitors TravelCard in the US for unlimited bus/tube transportation during your trip. Not available in the UK." All of the book's advice is first person and really puts you at ease. I can't say enough!

Summary: This book is way too basic
Comment: Don't waste your time or money on this book. First of all it tells you not to bother going to London if you have children under 10. Excuse me? The title is therefore misleading. Here are some samples of thier "novel" advice: split up your group if you can't decide where to go. Pack a lunch when planning a day of sight-seeing. I spent 10 days in London with a 20 month old and 4 year old and did very well by Rick Steves' book. This one stayed in the apt. There are no websites listed for any of their recomendations, where as Rick will set you up.
