Summary: Great ways to extend your thanks!
Comment: I was given this book as a pre-wedding gift from my parents. Wow! This book was so very helpful in writing the hundreds of ?thank you? notes that I had to churn out in a small period of time. This small, little book helps inspire you to make thank you statements that really mean something. I heard so much feedback from those that were generous enough to give gifts, about my heartfelt sent thank you notes! I continue to use the book, years after marriage, for cute ideas of thanks!

Summary: A good book addressing a wide array of thank you situations.
Comment: I thought that this book might be useful in helping me write my thank you notes for my wedding. While the book did contain some information relevant to this area, it actually covers much more than just saying thank you for gifts. In addition to addressing how to say thank you for various occasions, the author offers suggestions for all-purpose thank-yous such as thanking someone for being your friend, thanking hosts for dinner, business thank yous, etc. She provides examples of different types and styles of wording to use--eg, comparing the person to jewels--as well as gives ideas for more creative expressions of thanks, such as using food items. Finally, she discusses how to thank specific people, including family, romantic partners, and teachers, and there is even a section on "kid-sized thanks." If you are looking for an all-purpose book to help you show appreciation to the important people in your life, this book is excellent, but it fares less well in providing specific advice for writing gift thank you notes.

Summary: Inspirational Words for All Occassions
Comment: Wow! That was my first reaction after reading Robyn Spizman's inspirational Thank You book. She really shows how to send a heartfelt thank you for any occasion. Instead of the traditional, "Thank you so much for the blah...," Robyn really shows how to make every word count and show how truly thankful you are, not only for the gift, but to the giver for being a special friend or relative. I would absolutely recommend this book to anyone and everyone who ever wants to say thank you and mean it.
