Comment: This edition is a reprint of the ORIGINAL Walt Disney edition from 1933! The illustrations are absolutely beautiful, full color and lavish with wonderful paintings. Although there are numerous versions of this story with numerous illustrators over the years who have retold and recaptured this story, it is refreshing in a time when everything is changing to find something, especially a classic book of a children's tale, in its original version that not only brings BACK memories, but ultimately GIVES memories to the children who are read to. The second this book appeared in our home, my child was asking for it, over and over again! This is a book to SHARE with your child as a special part of your storytelling repetoire!
