Comment: I'm suprised to see so many other people praising this book. I've completed 8 other RL books so far and this was far and above the worst of them all. I truely had to force myself to finish the book hoping for some kind of redemption at it's conclusion. If this book had been a short story, it would have been much better. The finaly was good, but not nearly enough to suffer through 300+ pages of borring, mindless, rambling. Compared to "Vampire of the Mists", "Knight of the Black Rose", or "I, Strahd", it's safe to say this book [was horrible].

Comment: This book shows a frightning yet not that deformed picture of our society. the alienation of outsiders, people different from us, the desire to take the law into our own hands. Its extream but very true.Its a fantastic book, an example for the uses of the powerfull medium called "books" wisly.

Summary: Thrilling & Excellent plotted story
Comment: I found Carnival of Fear a bit out of place in the Ravenloft serie. You encounter less of the fearsome creatures who dwell in this Horror wolrd. But a horror book it certainly is! You keep on guessing, but the truth is always different. It keeps you occupied till the last page.
