Summary: Stands above the rest
Comment: This really is a complete book about the Titanic. It includes chapters such as: 'A complete chronicle of the Titanic disaster' that lists what happened nearly every minute of the fateful night; 'mysteries of the Titanic - a century of secrets'; 'Titanic 1997' which tells about James Cameron's movie; and 'The quest of the century' which details Dr. Robert Ballards' discovery of the wreck of the Titanic. Also the book includes a complete reprinting of the 1898 novella that seems to have predicted the Titanic disaster.
This book is really great for anyone interested in the Titanic. It is fascinating, well written and detailed. One of the great things about this book is that you can read the chapters that interest you (in any order) without missing anything by skipping parts.

Summary: The definitive Titanic tome!
Comment: It was no surprise that the theatrical release of James Cameron's 1997 Christmas blockbuster spawned the publishing of many different fictional novels as historical books centering around the events of April 14th, 1912. Out of the literally hundreds of books on the subject, "The Complete Titanic" is the most informative and entertaining, from its historical content to the details surrounding the making of and release of the popular film. With pages of photographs interspersed among chapters divided into sections, the book is a highly admirable way to distribute information on a widely growing phenomenon that has taken Hollywood and its followers by storm. Not to be missed, "The Complete Titanic" is an excellent read and resource for movie and historical buffs.
