Rating: 4
Summary: A Pleasure
Comment: I thoroughly enjoyed the journey of reading A Journey! A very sweet story of a young girl's search for self in Israel and Europe. Interesting facts about living on a kibbutz in the 70s and travels in Europe as well. Lovely young romance included.

Rating: 5
Summary: exciting
Comment: it is a few weeks ago now that I typed Ellen Rubinstein in Google just to find out after so many years if she had lived up to my expectations and be by now a writer a musician or scientist. Appearantly her first love, English literature, has won the race.
And so I ended up ordering A Journey, my first internet purchase ever. And although convincing myself that chances would be odd, one look at the author's portrait on the back cover made me realize that this book is the story of one of the most beautiful periods of my life.
I realize that the rating of 5 stars in this case is subjective to say the least.
but truth is that the story told is the well written testimony of a relationship that never got the chance to mature and had to be abonded, leaving pain and doubts that will always remain.. (for both) Very worthwhile reading
