Comment: This book is just great. I think it will end up being a bestseller once the word gets out.
Regarding the content of the book, I agree with the authors that EI has been more important than my IQ. I always thought that because I was considered extremely intelligent that I should be able to control something that was fact; not fully realizing the emotional side of the situation.
I rate this book a 5, because I enjoyed it and learned something. It's had a real impact upon my life at work and at home.

Comment: First, I was pleasantly surprised that the book arrived less than a week after I ordered it. So, don't worry about the wait.
I found the book thought-provoking and a smooth read. I've read another book on EQ, but I took alot more "home" with this one. It was easy to understand and very interesting.

Comment: I've never reviewed a book before on Amazon, but I just had to after reading this one. It really put into perspective for me something I've always known but never had a term for. Namely, intellect and experience are what get people into jobs, but emotional intelligence is what makes them star performers. I just think this book is a great find, even for those who work in technical professions. It's very straightforward and easy to read, yet the scientific basis for what it teaches is refreshing. It literally changed my life at work and at home!
