Summary: What are you willing to face for love?
Comment: I never have to read a Radclyffe book to know that I'm going to rate it 5 stars. Her writing is always good and consistent. She has me so hooked that I read them online and then have to read the printed book to see how she has improved the story. This book shows how important that can be. There is more depth to the story here than the online version. Basically, you have a woman who is trying to hide on an island while she tries to assess her life and what she should do with it in the face of potentially devastating news. She thinks she has no future. And she meets another woman who is living on the island, but it is an empty life that appears to have little purpose. Neither one is looking for love, but they find themselves drawn together. If they acknowledge their love, can they face an uncertain future together? Find out.

Summary: Heartbreakingly Hopeful
Comment: I was drawn in immediately by these passionate characters. If Tanner is a raging tide, then Adrianne is the calm below the surface. If you are going to pick up the book and read it, don't expect to get anything else done that day. You'll ignore the phone, the knocks at the door, and quite possibly the pleas of loved ones, just to finish this story. I have read all of Rad's writing and this is definitley one of my favorites. Rad captures intensity and compassion so beautifully, you forget you are reading a book and not experiencing these feeling first hand.
Well done.....would a sequel be too much to ask ;-)

Summary: A fantastically captivating book!
Comment: "I promise I'll do it tomorrow" is such an easy phrase to say. But what if you weren't guaranteed a tomorrow much less able to make a promise to anyone?
One woman faced with an uncertain future, runs away seeking a place of solace. What is she running from? Why is she running? Arriving at a place called Whitley Island, she meets a woman who is running recklessly into life seeking....something. What is she seeking and will she know it when she finds it? Forming what seems a tentative friendship at best, one begins to experience "feelings" for the other. One hesitates to form any feelings at all. Can they deal with life as it's presented on a day to day basis with or without a "promise of tomorrow"? What will they do when "Real Life" intrudes into the picture? Who or what is this real life intrusion? And will the old saying of "Love Conquers All" prove true?
Radclyffe is a tremendously talented writer and once again rings true with her ability to hold the reader captive, taking them through a gambit of emotions during a dramatic tale of life, love, loss and the pursuit of happiness.
